Visual identity for Urban Jungle 2
Editor: Goran Paulin, Kreativni odjel • 2003-2016
Urban Jungle is an educational computer game published in Croatia. It is an educational traffic simulator aimed at kids in schools and all others that are about to drive a car. In 2003, I was assigned to make a logo for the game.

Eight awards later, in 2013, Urban Jungle project was revisioned and made into a new project, aiming to be more advanced, more educational and at the same time free public repository of digital content for everybody to use.

First tasks were to redesign the logo and to make a one-page web, which will serve for informing and crowdsourcing people.

In March 2016, with more than 500 people willing to participate in the project, we launched a new production web, with all the information about developers, working process and future plans.

Design uses two very contrast colors - black and yellow, inspired from warning road signs. Overall look is modern and technical, with discreet gray hexagones in the background - suggesting the connections between people participating in a big project.

The roadmap is designed and illustrated with many individual replaceble and movable parts with big curvy road going into different directions. The active part, the one we are working at the moment, is separated by two "road work" signs, so the reader always knows what we have done, where we are at and what are the future plans.
